baby lost

when mum was pregnant we were all very excited about having a new brother or sister and son or daughter, but sadly, we lost the poor little thing at 8 weeks. so we had a little funeral, gathering type-thing and we all cried hard out (especially faith). we put it in a container and dug it into the ground.

Sonny Bill Williams' best is yet to come!

People are saying Sonny Bill’s best is yet to come in the next chiefs game. They say its a show worth watching. He has looked more threatening than ever, so apparently, he will be a death machine! People say he is a good influence to children even though he does boxing. He is a unselfish player.

I think he is going to smash every one.

Gecko Smugglers

A German tourist came down to Dunedin peninsula and secretly hunted some geckos and tried to smuggle them all the way back to Germany with him. He is named Andreas Hahn which has to suffer either 6 months in jail or a 100,000 dollar fine, the judge is still deciding on which one he should choose as a punishment. Geckos sell for 8,000 each and he got four, you do the math!

Our Trip to Christchurch

We went to Christchurch for Aunty Karla and Uncle Iain’s wedding and I had loads of fun doing fun as stuff like how I got to ride Uncle Charlie’s scooter round and round Waiau. I liked how I went to Hamner Springs and went diving with Shane but it sucked how the sulphur pools stunk the whole place out. It was funny when I hopped in them and gagged and gagged until I had to hop out. I also liked the car rides because we played fun games.

Surf to City - Neihana Writes

“5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Go! Have a nice bike with Surf to City!”

I biked in a good pace through the beach, we eventually hit road. I sped flat out, like I was being chased by cops. My brother and I both swerved around a corner. 10km to go! We stopped at a water stand to drink and spray water on us.

 We got stuck behind this Chinese kid, but he got tired and stopped. But when we turned the corner he was there and he stopped again! And when we turned another corner he was there and he needed to stop again!

I eventually made it and it was a great experience.

Waitangi Day

Today was Waitangi today so the kids and Chris all had the day off. We went for a walk along the Forest Hill track.

Fun with Dillain - Neihana Writes

I went to my friend Dillain’s house for two nights. I had heaps of fun because he lives on a farm and I got to do really epic jobs for his parents at the dairy shed like pushing the cows and bulls up the laneway on our bikes. We biked on the laneway at like from 10pm – 3.30am. It was so much fun, I loved it.
